Update: I've nearly finished editing with two of my Alpha readers. Their feedback has been amazing. Both of them loved it and said they had to do mostly line edits because it doesn't really need content edits.

I'm beyond thrilled by this. Especially since I wrote the first draft, went through it once, and sent it to them! Also because my deadline is in two weeks, and there are only so many hours in a day.

I'm waiting on one more Alpha reader. Then I'll read through it again and it's off to Beta readers!

Review & Giveaway of Intrinsical & Eternal Starling

And they're both SIGNED! Let's talk about two amazing debut books. Intrinsical by Lani Woodland and Eternal Starling by Angela Corbett. I had the opportunity to meet both authors at LTUE in Orem, UT this year, when we presented on a panel together. We went out to Rumbi Island Grill for dinner after and became instant friends. We all traded books for giveaways. So you have a chance to win both here, and Witch Song and one of their books on Lani's blog or Angela's blog.

Intrinsical by Lani Woodland.

From Goodreads: Sixteen-year-old Yara Silva has always known that ghosts walk alongside the living. Her grandma, like the other females in her family, is a Waker, someone who can see and communicate with ghosts. Yara grew up watching her grandmother taunted and scorned for this unusual ability and doesn't want that to be her future. She has been dreading the day when she too would see ghosts, and is relieved that the usually dominant Waker gene seems to have skipped her, letting her live a normal teenage life. However, all that changes for Yara on her first day at her elite boarding school when she discovers the gene was only lying dormant. She witnesses a dark mist attack Brent, a handsome fellow student, and rushes to his rescue. Her act of heroism draws the mist's attention, and the dark spirit begins stalking her. Yara finds herself entrenched in a sixty-year-old curse that haunts the school, threatening not only her life, but the lives of her closest friends as well. Yara soon realizes that the past she was trying to put behind her isn't going to go quietly.

My review: Equal parts mystery, ghost story, and romance, Intrinsical delivers a wicked twist that will leave you racing towards the conclusion. The mystery will keep you guessing to the very satisfying end--yay for no cliffhangers! I loved the romance between Brent and Yara--no insta love here. She's attracted to him, but isn't even sure she likes him at the beginning. Their relationship starts as a slow burn that stutters at times, as a realistic relationship does, until the end when Lani fans it to full on flames.

  Eternal Starling by Angela Corbett

A love so strong, even eternity can’t separate them.

Evie Starling has lived a relatively uneventful life hanging out with friends, gossiping about boys, and driving her 1966 Mustang. All of that changes when she moves to Gunnison, Colorado, to start college and meets two mysterious men.

My review: Oh the kissing. The delicious, fan your face kissing. I loved Evie. She's confident about her curves and has no fear about eating ice cream or pizza. And she drives a classic mustang! Hello! These two guys have been fighting over her for centuries, and they love her curves as much as she does. Plus their both hot beyond words. I kinda want to be Evie. Wouldn't you? 
 
I have a hardcopy of both books to give away. Honestly, I'm kinda tired of the "follow me!" option for contests. I think you should follow me because I'm awesome and so are my books, not because you want to win something.
