YA Scavenger Hunt

I'm Amber Argyle, author of the Witch Song and Fairy Queen Trilogies (book bloggers, don't forget to sign up for an eARC for the final book in the Witch Song Trilogy, Witch Fall).

In addition to the amazing prizes offered by the hunt, I'm also offering a SIGNED special edition hardcover of INSURGENT by Veronica Roth click here + ebooks by 17 of my fellow Dauntless authors, including: Amber Argyle (me!), Cindy M. Hogan, Angela Corbett, Donna K Weaver, RaShelle Workman, Ali Cross, Wendy Knight, Donna Hosie, G.P. Ching, Kate Avery Ellison, Megg Jensen, Sawyer Bennett, Elle Strauss, Stephanie Fowers, Konstanz Silverbow, Jace Cameron, and Nancy S. Thompson. You'll get one ebook from each author (keep reading to find out how).

Also, all of my books have gone on sale for the hunt. Witch Song and Witch Born are both on sale for $2.99 and Winter Queen is 3.99

On a personal note, I turn 33 next year, which I'm pretty excited about!
Confused about anything hunt related? Go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page to find out all about the hunt. Basically, there are THREE contests going on simultaneously, and you can enter one or ALL THREE! I am a part of the BLUE TEAM--but there is also a red team and gold team for a chance to win a total of 60 books!

SCAVENGER HUNT PUZZLE

Directions: Above, you'll notice that I've listed my favorite number (in blue). Collect the favorite numbers of all the authors on the blue team, and then add them up (don't worry, you can use a calculator!).

Entry Form: Once you've added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify.

Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by Oct 6th at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.

Whew. Now we're done with the rules, let me introduce you to Kim Baccellia Rapier! Here's a little more about her:

Kim's other works include Crossed Out, a YA paranormal, published by Lachesis Publishing, and a YA multicultural fantasy, Earrings of Ixtumea, which will be re-released in March 2012 by Muse It Up publishing. A member of SCBWI, Kim is currently writing the sequel to Crossed Out. She's also putting the finishing touches on a YA multicultural dystopian novel. She lives in Southern California with her husband and son.

For this hunt, Kim is featuring her newest book, NO MORE GODESSES. Here's a little more about it:

Getting a date shouldn’t be this hard. Jordan Lake discovers an ancient bracelet in her grandmother's house and uncovers a family mystery that links her favorite actress, Audrey Hepburn, a romantic movie, and an aunt she never knew. Jordan hopes the bracelet will bring her love. Instead, it brings one nightmare after another, unleashing Hathor, the Egyptian love goddess, who decides it's fun to mess with the McKnight High School social scene. Jordan holds the key to vanquish Hathor, but will she figure out what it is in time to save her school, one of her best friends, and get a date to the Valentine’s Day dance?

Sounds like a fantastic book! Find out more about Kim here or purchase her book here!

I would love to teleport. It seems like I waste half my life driving places stuck in traffic. It would be so nice to think of a place and poof there I am

I would love teleportation too, or healing. I would love to be able to be able to heal anything in nature: trees, flowers, baby birds, people.

I would love to be a shapeshifter! I always thought it'd be so cool to become anything you can think of and even mysterious like Mystic from the X-Men.
