I don't like asking for help

Wednesday, April 30, 2014
But I'd do anything for my son, so here goes.
Connor has been suffering from medical problems for over a year, but it's recently gotten much worse. You can read all about it here and here and here and here.

The short of it is that he's in a wheelchair until further notice. Many of you have expressed that you would like to help, and one of my friends, Wendy, suggested that people could send letters or cards in the mail to cheer him up.

He would LOVE that, and it would do so much to lift his spirits. So if you'd like to help, you can send something here:

*address removed. Thank you for all your support!*

For all you scary stalkerish types, this is not my address. It's a charity that forwards the letters onto me.

Thank you in advance for your support!

it's really nothing and if receiving one from international would make him happy it would be a pleasure
is there a topic he enjoy most ( i don't know car, dinosaurs etc anything^^) or prefer so i could try to find something linked to that

  1. He loves minecraft (game), legos, stuffed animals, and silly/funny things. Is that what you mean?

  1. Oh, and soccer. He loves soccer. And silly books.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you and your son. I really don't know what to write but I'll think of something.

  1. Miki: Thank you so much! He would love a card or something.
    Itara: Thank you!

I'm a friend of Wendy's. :) Would you be okay if I sent Connor a remote control fart machine? My friend sent one to my Kenton when he was in-patient at PCMC at the start of cancer treatment and it brought us so many laughs. If you'd rather not, that's fine too. I can find a different fun treasure.

  1. I'm an author and would like to send a copy of my book (you can read about it here: www.bit.ly/danielthedrawer) for Connor, either digitally or a paperback. Would I use the address above to do so?

  1. Deb: lol! He would love it. Me, not so much. It doesn't actually stink…please yell me it doesn't stink.

  1. Mrs. Ohboy: that addy is fine. :)
